The staff was nice, and I had no problem with the free wifi. It is very close to everything if you are there for a university-related event. Good public transit access if that is what you are using to get around. Lots of good food options immediately nearby. It was affordable, but the price matched the quality.

It was relatively clean.

It was a very nice place and it reminded me of hostels I've been too before. I like how it had a cafe and 24 hour access. The way the bathrooms are in the hallway reminds me of my stay in New York.

The hotel is very 1920's. You could imagine F. Scott Fitzgerald staying there.

We always stay at the Nash when attending a live show at the UC Theatre Berkeley. I would highly recommend for proximity to the venue and the staff is very helpful. Good little Chinese restaurant in the hotel as well.

The location was perfect and I liked the safety of the building. Our room was clean and comfy and I appreciated the fridge and microwave. Friendly staff and good value.

I thought The Nash would be more bare bones, hostel-like; it was a lovely, old building, renovated just enough, in a GREAT location, and a great value for the rate.

I could not face having breakfast there so eat out The bed and pillows were comfortable. the room had toiletries. no tea facilities though

Pleasant and helpful staff. We arrived before the scheduled check-in, and the room was available before: very useful. The location is excellent: very close to UC Berkeley, BART station (Downtown Berkeley) and a grocery store (Trader Joe's). The room was equipped with a coffee maker and a microwave. The price was also less than in the surrounding hotels.

Very convenient location near the BART station and UC Berkeley, and relatively cheap for that. The room is spacious. I appreciated the early check-in (11 am, even though I was warned it would not be possible through the website communication and initially only wanted to store my luggage).
